Techie sure, but designer? Well maybe, baby!

I have always been one of those geeky tech girls. I enjoy taking apart stuff, whether it is to replace a broken iPhone screen or upgrade my Macbook’s memory and harddrive. I love messing around with software too, I jailbroke my iPhone and my AppleTv before their built in apps caught up to my high standards.

This stuff used to intimidate me, but I always felt challenged to avoid spending tons of money to pay someone else to fix my stuff for me, so I just taught myself how to do it. With all the great blog, tutorials, and how-to-videos online you can pretty much teach yourself how to do anything, even without any formal training. I am a geek and proud of it! Read more…
